Why Does the Steering Wheel Make a Clunking o r Clicking Noise When Turning?

If Camry owners hear clicking, clunking, o r popping sounds while turning the wheel, could it indicate worn-out CV joints, a loose steering rack, o r damaged tie rods? How can this issue be fixed?

Clunking o r clicking noises when turning may indicate:

Worn CV Joints: The constant velocity CV joints help transmit power from the engine to the wheels. If they are worn o r damaged, they can make clunking o r popping noises.
Loose Steering Rack: If the steering rack is loose o r has play, it can cause clunking when turning.
Damaged Tie Rods: Worn-out tie rods can cause a clicking sound while steering.

Solution:

Inspect the CV joints, tie rods, and steering rack.
Replace any worn o r damaged parts as needed.
