Spare parts for Suzuki Mehran have become noticeably expensive, even though its considered a budget car. Here’s why:

Discontinued Model: Since Mehran was discontinued in 2019, genuine parts from Pak Suzuki are no longer being manufactured in large quantities.

Increased Import Costs: Many aftermarket o r kabli parts are imported. With the USD to PKR rate going up, prices have also increased.

High Demand, Low Supply: Mehran is still widely used across Pakistan. That means parts are in demand — and dealers are cashing in.

Chinese vs. Genuine: Many mechanics offer cheaper Chinese parts, but genuine ones are almost double the price.
