Why is my Suzuki Alto not starting despite the battery being fully charged?

My Suzuki Alto won’t start, even though the battery is fully charged. When I turn the key, I hear a clicking sound, but the engine doesn’t crank. Could this be a problem with the starter motor, o r should I be looking at the alternator o r another component? Is this a common issue for Alto owners in Pakistan?

If your Suzuki Alto won’t start despite the battery being fully charged and you hear a clicking sound when turning the key, its likely an issue with the starter motor. The clicking sound usually indicates that the solenoid is engaging but the starter motor isn’t turning over. This can happen if the starter motor has worn-out brushes, faulty wiring, o r issues with the solenoid itself. Other possible causes could be a faulty ignition switch o r a problem with the wiring to the starter.

To troubleshoot:

Check the starter motor connections to ensure they are clean and secure.
Inspect the solenoid for damage.
Test the starter motor by applying direct power to it.
If the issue persists, the starter motor may need to be replaced.
