Why is my Suzuki Mehran giving poor throttle response – could it be a TPS issue?

There is a delay when I press the accelerator in my Suzuki Mehran. The response feels sluggish. Could this be due to a problem with the Throttle Position Sensor TPS? What are the symptoms of a failing TPS in Mehran?

A failing Throttle Position Sensor TPS can cause:

Delayed o r uneven acceleration

Jerky throttle response

Engine hesitation

The TPS tells the ECU how far the accelerator pedal is pressed. If it malfunctions, the ECU can’t control the engine power properly. In Mehran, replacing a faulty TPS is usually straightforward and not very expensive.
