Why is my Suzuki Mehran idling rough — could a faulty purge control valve be the cause?

I’ve noticed that my Suzuki Mehran is idling roughly, especially when the AC is on. Sometimes it feels like the engine is about to stall. Could a faulty purge control valve be causing this rough idle, and how can I confirm if it’s the problem?
