I’ve noticed that my Suzuki Mehran is idling roughly, especially when the AC is on. Sometimes it feels like the engine is about to stall. Could a faulty purge control valve be causing this rough idle, and how can I confirm if it’s the problem?

Yes, a faulty purge control valve could cause your Suzuki Mehran to idle rough. The purge control valve regulates the flow of fuel vapors from the gas tank to the engine. If it gets clogged o r malfunctions, it can disrupt the air-fuel mixture, leading to rough idling o r stalling. You can check for this by cleaning o r replacing the valve if necessary. If the valve is clogged o r stuck, it can cause vacuum leaks and rough idle, especially at idle speed o r with the AC on.
