Will these work for me?

My brother bought me Bosch Super Plus (plus YTTRIUM) 2 tips for my Charade 87-88 (G100 engine). A mechanic said that they wouldn't work as my car has a point system for my carburetor. Is it true??

He bought them since my CNG was not being very economical in terms of milage.

The stem (the white part of the plug) is also smaller compared to the regular plug. Are these plugs pre-gapped? Cause i don't see a way to gap them as they look like this:
