From the last few months we have been listening that Indus motor might discontinue corolla xli and gli models, and in place of those two will launch a smaller car with the same 1300 engine, present in the already existing models. Most of the people says that the car which is going to be launched in Toyota vios. As it is been said before in different blogs, Toyota company is going to use the same strategy that the Honda company used by launching two different cars, city and civic for two different categories.

We have heard news from our neighboring country that the Toyota Company is going to launch Toyota yaris 2018 at the auto expo in India. Both of the cars yaris and vios are very much similar to each other, whereas the later car is going to be a bit luxurious than yaris. As it is an important news, because that will make Toyota Japan, to focus Toyota yaris sedan for south Asian countries, rather than different cars for different countries.

As we are also expecting for a 1300 engine car in Pakistan, Toyota is going to launch the yaris sedan with 1500cc motor producing round about 110 BPH along with the option of either five speed manual o r a 7 step CVT.

As Indus motor is targeting smaller Honda city in Pakistan, the same way they want to compete their yaris sedan with the beloved Honda city in India. Yaris sedan is going to be on sale in late 2018, whereas the new vios is expecting to be launched in the start of 2019.
