Expected Price of Corolla Cross Is Announced

The Toyota Indus Motors IMC is ready to import various CBU units of Toyota Corolla Cross in Pakistan. The CBUs are said to be import in a minimal number. The company has decided to import limited units of the car in the country due to heavy demand of the vehicle worldwide. According to Chief Executive Officer CEO of the Toyota Indus Motor Company IMC, Ali Asghar Jamali, revealed that the Corolla Cross will be officially launched in Pakistan by the end of 2020. Jamali added that a few of the vehicles have already been imported to be tested on Pakistani roads and in local traffic conditions. According to sources the price of this new Corollas Cross will be Rs8.5 million PKR 85-lacs.

Let’s go over Corolla cross, which sits on top of TNGA-C [Toyota New Global Architecture] platform which is dedicated for compact vehicle class both front and AWD versions. This is the same platform it shares with the 12th generation Corolla as well the C-HR

Exterior

On the exterior of the Corolla Cross, it follows the current Toyota model lineup style of the SUV. Although the name has the word "Corolla" in it, it doesn't look like a Corolla sedan o r a Corolla hatchback on the outside. The wide fringe mimics the current generation of Rao 4, while the rear end also looks inspired by Rao 4. Built-in slim DRL [daytime running light] projector headlights in the front, black plastic tires on the wheel arches, ding, roof line and black roof rails overall make a very beautiful sporty looking. It has 17” and 18” alloy wheels as well.

Interior


Interior of the new Toyota Corolla Cross give a look same like a 12th generation Corolla. It is featured with infotainment system, digital cluster, dashboard and digital HVAC controls. The vehicle is a 5 seater. Electric power steering comes standard while MacPherson strut is at the front suspension; torsion-beam is the rear suspension.

Power Train

The Toyota Corolla Cross is housed with two engine options a standard familiar FWD, 1.8L 2ZR-FBE with 140HPand 175 NM of torque. The standard transmission is the CVT. The Corolla Cross also comes in hybrid variant having 1.8-litre 2ZR-FXE engine which makes 98hp and 142nm of torque. There is an electric motor with a 72HP with 163NM of torque which works in conjunction with the gasoline engine and while total system power to be around 121Hp and this is the same setup as found in Corolla Hybrid o r Prius.
