Govt TO Implement EV Policy For 4 Wheelers Soon
The government of Pakistan has formerly launched the electric vehicles policy EV Policy for 4 wheelers recently. The Electric Vehicle EV Policy for 4 wheelers is not yet implemented due to delay in draft approval leading to implement the EV policy.
Recently, it was also reported that various importers are facing issues due to delay in implementation as they have imported hundred of units of EVs and waiting for quick action to shift from the port.
In a recent development, the Minister of IT and Telecom, Fawad Husain Chaudhry has announced that Government is working to implement the EV policy for the 4 wheelers soon.

He further stated the EVs will help in the reduction of the pollution around the country and there will be more opportunities for work will be produced for the betterment of the public of the Pakistan.
Fawad Chaudhry further claimed that due to delay in the issuance of the ordinance, the implementation of the EV policy affected, however, government is keenly considering the issue and will announce to implement the EV policy 2021 soon.
