Honda BR-V – Overview

Honda BR-V – Overview
Since past some time, Honda Pakistan is late in delivering products as was seen in its diesel enactment and also while launching in the SUV competition. But the Honda BR-V is the latest presentation by the company which is much roomier than its competitors. All the important features are included apart from cruise control and traction.
Review
There is a modest automatic transmission in Honda BR-V that provides good performance in city traffic. The BR- has good road grip and control. Unlike that of Suzuki APVV, the design is very superb.
Specifications The BR-V has several superb features but several of its shady features will be unpleasant for the readers. But, many people using the vehicle really like its performance. The major specifications of i-VTEC and S i-VTEC are following:

Engine: 1.5-litre petrol
Power: 117bhp at 6,600rpm
Torque: 145Nm at 4,600rpm
Gearbox: CVT
Claimed Fuel Efficiency: 16Km/l for CVT
Glitches & Hitches
Large families are the most beneficiary of this beautiful MPV. Most of the buyers of Sedan will like the Honda BR-V despite being its assembling in Pakistan. There is no problem about its price but it lacks important security and safety features. Rs. 2,229,000 is the price of the standard i-VTEC model. But these safety features are only the issue in the locally assembled BR-V as international model of the car includes all such features like:
1. Front passenger side airbag.
2. Addition of armrest
3. Push start/stop button.
4. Crash sensor and Impact sensing Auto door unlock
5. Paddle Shift.

Launch
It is a 7-seater vehicle which looks similar to Honda Mobilio. It is a roomy and solid MPV that is able to win the hearts of Pakistanis. Honda introduced BR-V as a replacement for Suzuki APV and Toyota Avanza. The price of two variants available in Pakistan includes:
• iVTEC Grade for 2,229,000.00 rupees
• iVTEC S-Grade for 2,329,000.00 rupees

Engine & Performance
Both the versions of BR-V are powered by 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine which is also used in Honda City Aspire 1.5. You will really like its continuously variable transmission. But the public view about its build quality is mixed.
Due to road grip and equilibrium, BR-V proves it to be a superior vehicle. Most of the road bumps are absorbed by its well designed suspension.

Competitors
Suzuki APV and Toyota Avanza are its main competitors. Initially, the response of people for BR-V was slow and its supplies had to be suspended until September but there was pre booking of minimum 100 BR-Vs, according to reports. We can say that combination of its price and features are good for Pakistani market. You can take a change with Honda BR-V if you want to have a comfortable ride with good mileage.
