Honda City 2023 Facelift Photos & Specs

The facelift of Honda City 2023 has received minor changes in the exterior design. The front grille, bumpers, wheels, and colors have been upgraded to enhance its overall look. The grille is now a mesh-patterned air inlet, and the bumper comes with a carbon-wrapped splitter and sporty fog lamp garnishes. The rear bumper has a carbon-wrapped diffuser and body-colored trunk lip spoiler. The 16-inch alloy wheels have a dual-tone diamond-cut multi-spoke design. Lastly, the new color introduced for the facelift is Obsidian Blue Pearl.

Interior Design

Similar to the exterior, the interior of the new Honda City 2023 facelift looks more or less the same as the pre-update version. However, the higher-specs version gets a new instrument cluster that adapts the Honda Civic V’s partially digital display, which shows more information to the driver. The lower-spec versions will continue to come with the old cluster as before. The Indian and South African markets are expected to get a tan interior in the new facelift.

Safety and Convenience Options

However, the most significant upgrade in the new City is Honda Sensing, which means that the City is getting the company’s active safety package as standard, at least for the top variants.

Honda Sensing: Active Safety Package as Standard

Honda Sensing is the most significant upgrade in the new Honda City 2023 facelift. The City is getting the company’s active safety package as standard, at least for the top variants. This means that the new City will now have adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation warning, lane keeping assist, lead car departure warning, and auto high beam.

Engine Specs: No Changes

Meanwhile, the hybrid version has a total system output of 124hp and 253Nm of torque. The transmission options for non-hybrid also remain the same, a 6-speed manual or CVT.
