Hyundai IONIQ 6 Now Available for Delivery in Pakistan

This year, local car manufacturers have made significant progress in introducing electric vehicles (EVs) to Pakistan. One notable update is the impending launch of BYD electric cars in the country. In March 2024, Hyundai Nishat unveiled its first premium luxury Electric Car "IONIQ 6" in Pakistan.

IONIQ 6 DELIVERY UPDATE

Recently, Hyundai Nishat announced that it is ready to deliver the IONIQ 6 to customers who have pre-booked the vehicle. A large number of these cars were seen at Emporium Mall in Lahore. Previously, the company imported test units to evaluate their performance on local roads.

HYUNDAI IONIQ 6 SPECIFICATIONS

Dimensions

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 is a 5-seater vehicle with dimensions of 4855mm in length, 1880mm in width, and 1495mm in height. It features a wheelbase of 2950mm and a ground clearance of 150mm.

Engine & Power

This EV is equipped with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, delivering a maximum power of 239 kW (320hp) and 605 Nm of torque. It has a 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery that provides a power output of 277 kW and a range of up to 519 kilometers per charge. The car utilizes a single-speed reduction gear Column type Shift-by-wire transmission.

DESIGNS AND FEATURES

Exterior

The IONIQ 6's exterior features include MFR LED headlights, parametric pixel LED auto light control Day Time Running Lights (DRLs), and taillamps. It also has a high-mounted stop lamp, power-adjustable and retractable LED turn signals, flush-type door handles, and a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines. The car comes with 245/40 R20 alloy wheels, a sunroof, a shark fin antenna, an aero-type spoiler, and a powered smart tailgate. The front and rear bumpers are body-colored with piano black accents.

Interior

Inside, the IONIQ 6 offers a leather-wrapped, tilt-and-telescopic, heated steering wheel with audio, MID, voice control, and cruise control switches. It features an electronic chrome rear-view mirror, a 3-cluster digital display, keyless entry, and a push start button. The seats are upholstered in leather, with 8-way powered adjustment and lumbar support for both driver and passenger. The car also includes heated and ventilated seats, 60:40 rear split folding seats, a 3-inch infotainment display with Wired Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, and dual-zone automatic climate control AC.

SAFETY FEATURES

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 is equipped with numerous safety features, including an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD), and six airbags (Driver, Passenger, Side, Curtain). It also includes ISOFIX seat anchors, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Traction Control System (TCS), front and rear parking sensors, auto cruise control, wireless charging, paddle shifters, rain-sensing wipers, and an auto electronic parking brake.
