Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Vs. MG HS PHEV

The fourth generation of the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid is now available, and its price starts at Rs. 10,999,000 (Smart FWD) and Rs. 11,999,000 ( Signature AWD). The third generation of this vehicle, which entered Pakistan in 2020, performed well for around five years. Now, the latest Tucson has finally arrived in Pakistan.

Given the striking similarities between the predecessor and the new Tucson, the changes are quite noticeable. From the headlights and taillights to a completely revamped interior, nothing from the previous generation remains the same, and it looks impressive. The front is bulky, and the back is sleek, enhancing its modern appeal.

We also have a competitor in the form of the MG HS PHEV, which is priced at Rs. 9,499,000, making it a strong contender against the Tucson. As per the tradition of Chinese manufacturers, the MG HS PHEV offers more for less, with a larger HEV battery and extended range, as it is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), while the Tucson remains a standard hybrid (HEV).

When comparing the Tucson vs MG HS, it’s clear that both have their strengths. The Tucson Hybrid offers a well-balanced and efficient drive, while the MG HS PHEV stands out with its larger battery and electric-only range, adding more value to its price tag.

For other specs, here’s a detailed comparison between both cars, specifically between the MG HS PHEV and the AWD Signature variant of the new Tucson Hybrid:
