Indus Motors Recalls Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8L Grande Units
Indus Motor Company recalled its Corolla models because of the quality and safety issued for last 13 months now. The company completed the 4th recall and it brought in 1719 Altis 1.8l Grande vehicles, which were produced between August 2015 and March 2016. The models are produced during this timeframe and they faced some technical issues with airbags and the company has recalled the units to solve these issues.

During the period of 13 months, Toyota Indus accumulated 16719 qualifying units and these issues have been found in different Corolla variants like 1.6l Altis, Altis Grande, XLI and GLI.
Airbag Failure
The units, which were developed between the aforementioned timeframe, they had impaired sensors and they deployed the airbags after detection of the collision. The sensors could stop working and they can cause airbag warning light to illuminate. The airbags have the chance to fail at the required time until the company repairs the unit.

The Toyota Company called in 2700 Corolla units back in June 2017 and these units had the different problems, which are concerned with mounting bolts to connect the front passenger seats. They had not been tightened properly. The company has advised the owners of Corolla that their vehicles and the aforementioned models might have faulty brakes and they should visit the authorized dealers of Toyota.
An accident was happened in February 2017 and it turned fatal as Corolla failed to deploy the side airbags of the driver. The company started the recall after incident to fix these units.
