Maruti's 5-Door Suzuki Jimny Sets Sail for Export from India

In a significant stride toward expanding its global footprint, Maruti Suzuki has set in motion the export of the India-manufactured 5-door Suzuki Jimny. This exciting development brings the beloved compact off-road SUV to new horizons, with destinations including the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America now part of its reach. The 5-door Jimny, which made its world debut at the Auto Expo 2023, is an emblem of homegrown success, produced exclusively in India.

The 5-door Suzuki Jimny 2023, an exceptional addition to Maruti's lineup, has been making waves since its unveiling at the Auto Expo 2023. Proudly produced in India, the 5-door variant had its grand entry into the domestic market in June 2023. However, the Jimny story began even earlier when, in November 2020, Suzuki Cars 2023 embarked on the journey of manufacturing the 3-door Jimny, a version specifically tailored for export markets in Africa and Latin America.

The India-manufactured Jimny 5-Door in our export portfolio will surely create excitement among our overseas customers. Aligning with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, our Company now exports an extensive range of 17 vehicles across segments. We remain committed in our efforts to sustain leadership in export of India-manufactured passenger vehicles.

Even more enticing is its competitive pricing, with the 5-door Jimny being available in the Indian market at a range between INR 12.74 lac and INR 15.05 lac.
