New Honda CG125 2024 with Fresh Stickers & 77 Changes

Atlas Honda continues its tradition of innovation with the introduction of the new Honda CG125, featuring fresh stickers and a remarkable "77 improvements," comprising 35 in the engine and 42 in the frame. The official poster proudly proclaims, "Power Up – 77 Improvements, Powerful Experience." According to the company, this marks the dawn of a "whole new riding experience."

Engine Enhancements

The Honda CG125 boasts a series of noteworthy upgrades under the hood. These include a revamped crank-shaft assembly, redesigned head and cylinder, a new gear-oil pump driver, improved gear timing drive, upgraded pistons, reinforced engine mounting points, and a redesigned carburetor for enhanced airflow.

On the exterior front, riders will appreciate the new seat design, a redesigned speedometer shape, a fresh monogram style, and upgraded piston and hub colors.

Introducing the "Golden Edition"

What was formerly known as the "Special Edition" has now been rebranded as the "Golden Edition," featuring a series of gold-themed enhancements, including a gold front emblem, speedometer with a black and gold color scheme, refreshed seat stitching pattern, black and gold stickers, gold side and exhaust covers, and clear white blinkers. This collection of golden elements caters to niche enthusiasts, though the 77 improvements are not expected to bring about significant changes in the bike's performance.

The standard Honda CG125 is currently priced at Rs. 234,900, while the "Golden Edition," previously known as the "Special Edition," comes with a price tag of Rs. 282,900.

Atlas Honda's Ongoing Strategy

Atlas Honda has maintained a longstanding presence in Pakistan, primarily focusing on updating the bike's aesthetics rather than making substantial engineering changes. The introduction of a new sticker each year has been the norm, essentially rebranding it as a new model. A similar approach is observed with the Honda CD70, a strategy that has persisted for years due to stable sales figures.
