New Train Schedules Unveiled by Pakistan Railways

Pakistan Railways has adjusted the departure times of two passenger trains, Allama Iqbal Express and Shaheen Passenger, to enhance public convenience.

A spokesperson from Pakistan Railways disclosed the updated schedule for both trains, effective as of Friday. The revised timetable indicates that the Allama Iqbal Express will now depart from Karachi Cantt at 3:30 PM, altering its previous time of 2:15 PM, with an anticipated arrival in Sialkot at 6 PM on the following day.

Similarly, the Shaheen Passenger, which operates the Sialkot-Wazirabad route, will now depart an hour later than its previous schedule. Previously leaving Sialkot at 6 PM, it will now reach Wazirabad at 8:05 PM, departing from Sialkot at 7 PM.

It's worth noting that last month, Pakistan Railways implemented its updated winter timetable, effective from October 15. The administration introduced a new stop at the Khairpur Railway Station for Pakistan Express (45 Up).

Additionally, several temporary stops were converted into permanent ones for specific trains, including Allama Iqbal Express (9 Up/10 Dn) and Quetta Express. These trains will now include stops at Lodhran Railway Station and Toba Tek Singh Railway Station, respectively.
