Pakistani Truck Art gaining Global Attention

Trucks produce lot of pollution and other problem due to their large size due to which they are considered nuisance in Pakistan but they are known in several other parts of the world as moving art pieces. Pakistani truck art is like by many people around the world.
The beautiful truck art is favorite for bystanders who usually see a decorated crown in the company of beautiful portraits of Islamic art, poetry, celebrities, mountains, animals, flowers and many more.
In several western countries, the ‘truck art’ from Pakistan is getting so much popularity that it is used in gallery exhibition while retailers in London keep them whole year for sale.
But it is not considered as art by locals and they use it as a pride for themselves. They say that these drawing portray their hometown and make their trucks superior to others. As compared to roads, they spend more time discussing colors and animal son their trucks.
The drivers have opinion that a compared to trucks with less o r no decoration, you can attract more customers with a large crown and beautiful decorations. According to a truck driver of FATA region, he is using yellow and green colors since past 40 years while mountains and wild animals can be seen on the trucks of Kashmir, Swat and South Waziristan while the trucks of Mohmand, Khyber and other tribal areas are full of beautiful flowers.
