Proton X70 Facelift Hits Market Soon

The Proton X70 facelift version will be announced in the market very soon. This is the refreshed versions of Boyue SUV in China and it is rebadged GeelyBoyue, which will be arrived in the facelift very soon in the market.

The facelift version of this car will be added with the revised front fascia and it is also added with large slatted grille, slightly redesigned front bumper and sleeker headlights. There is alloy wheel design on the side and it is different and remaining SUV will appear similar as before.

The engine of this car for the Chinese market is turbocharged 1.8 liter 4-cylinder petrol-powered unit in order to produce 184 hp and 300 Nm of torque. This engine sends the power to the front wheels only or all four wheels of the vehicle depending on the variant with 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.

The new Boyue will commence it in China from about Rs.4.4 million and now it is increased to Rs.4.8 million, which is still less than Proton X70 price in Pakistan. The users should keep in mind that Pakistan imports X70 CKD kits from Malaysia and it and they assembled the vehicle there and in this way, the price is also increased and logistics and other operational costs are also included.

Proton has updates the X70 for Malaysia and it implies that facelift version is approached to Malaysia first and after than in Pakistan.
