Toyota C-HR Plus Electric SUV Unveiled

Toyota has officially introduced the Toyota C-HR+ EV, marking a significant step in the brand’s electrification journey. Unlike its predecessor, this model is a fully electric Toyota C-HR+, dropping the "bZ" branding to simplify its identity. Toyota aims to make its electric lineup more recognizable while ensuring top-tier performance and efficiency. This shift in branding strategy might be debatable, but the new model certainly brings fresh excitement to the market.

Bigger, Bolder, and More Spacious
The Toyota C-HR+ Electric SUV retains a similar design to its standard counterpart but comes with a larger frame and extended wheelbase. This increase in size enhances both passenger comfort and cargo capacity, offering 416 liters of trunk space. Built on the e-TNGA platform, the vehicle shares many characteristics with the bZ4X, ensuring a more robust and adaptable structure for electric mobility.

High-Performance Powertrain Options
Toyota provides two drivetrain configurations for the Toyota C-HR+ EV—a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant. The RWD model features a single motor, producing 165 hp with a 57.7 kWh battery or 221 hp with a 77 kWh pack. On the other hand, the AWD version boasts Toyota C-HR+ 338 HP, delivering impressive acceleration and efficiency. Although official Toyota C-HR+ EV Range figures remain undisclosed, Toyota estimates up to 600 km on a full charge.

Interior Upgrades and Tech Enhancements
The interior of the Toyota C-HR+ Electric SUV receives notable updates, combining modern aesthetics with advanced technology. A fully digital instrument cluster, along with a 14-inch infotainment display, enhances user experience. However, physical climate controls have been removed, requiring users to adjust settings via the touchscreen. Additional Toyota C-HR+ Features include a compact gear selector, optional panoramic sunroof, and dual wireless charging pads for added convenience.

Availability and Expected Pricing
Toyota plans to roll out the Toyota C-HR+ EV in select European markets by the end of this year, with wider availability expected in 2026. While exact Toyota C-HR+ Price details remain under wraps, it is expected to compete with other mid-sized electric SUVs. Enthusiasts eagerly await an official Toyota C-HR+ Release Date, as the model promises a compelling blend of style, efficiency, and cutting-edge technology.
