* 1993 Mitsubishi Pajero Problem *

My question is on a 1993 Mitsubishi Pajero, I was driving this morning and it just shut off, and I had no power steering and the brakes were very hard to push. I tried starting it again, and I just got a really strange noise. Almost the same noise as when you turn the key again after a vehicle is always running. It wouldn't start up, so I towed it back home and let it sit all day. When I got back from work, I tried it again, and it will start up, but only if I press the accelerator, and it sounds really bogged down... like it's about to die again. There is also a loud rattling now, coming from the engine. Have any suggestions? Thanks

what you describe, it sounds like a timing belt problem, everything does not sound at the right time ...
