69' Beetle without AirCooler

69' Beetle without AirCooler

Hi Guys

I need some help from X-perts.

As some of you might already know about my buggy (Runtime...Okm) DIY Project.

I have reduced the weight of my car to about 300kgs. (orignal in excess of 600kgs)

Body is Open, and so the engine is.

Engine is open to Air Coming from Front.

Question

1-Does it require Interal Blower?
2-What i remove the internal Blower (Connected with Dynamo), and Blower directing assembly?
3-Has Any1 Done that, in Open Engine Engine Enviornment?

4-I have example of Alots of 1000cc Bile and ATV, GoKart Engines?

5-Do you recommend an Open VW Beetle 1500cc Engine without Blower, If yes WHY?, If no WHY?

no, bad idea regardless of situation and location. also this engine is cooled by air and the oil flowing in the system, 1000cc bikes and ATV's have watercooled engines (radiatored).

removal of the fan shroud and fan would lead to instant death of the engine.

if you want good air flow, get the oil cooler flowed by a radiator repair guy and get a fan which is well balanced (damaged ones tend to wobble which can cause serious damage to your engine, generator/alternator and other parts near by)
