Are cheap local tires causing uneven wear on my Suzuki Bolan?

Are cheap local tires causing uneven wear on my Suzuki Bolan?

I recently switched to locally manufactured tires to save cost, but after a few thousand kilometers, the tread wear looks inconsistent. Is the quality of the tire a factor in uneven wear, o r should I be looking at something else like rotation o r balancing?

Yes, tire quality matters a lot. Many locally manufactured o r second-grade tires in Pakistan may not have the same rubber quality, tread design, o r durability as imported o r branded tires. These tires might wear unevenly due to inconsistent tread depth o r poor balancing from the start. However, even good tires can wear unevenly if rotation, balancing, o r alignment is not done on time. Its recommended to rotate tires every 8,000–10,000 km and balance them whenever you feel vibration o r uneven pull. Investing in mid-range branded tires can save money in the long run due to better performance and lifespan.
