Can uneven tire pressure cause alignment o r suspension problems in Suzuki Bolan?

My mechanic said that uneven tire pressure can affect the alignment and suspension. Is that true for Bolan? Ive been driving with one rear tire underinflated for weeks—could that lead to long-term damage?

Yes, driving with uneven tire pressure can affect:

Alignment: If one side has lower pressure, it causes uneven height, affecting steering geometry and causing pulling to one side.

Suspension: The Bolan’s simple suspension setup is not very forgiving. Constant underinflation on one tire stresses the leaf springs, bushings, and shocks.

Tire wear: Uneven pressure leads to one tire wearing faster, possibly damaging the tire o r reducing road grip.

So yes, over time, mismatched pressures can cause suspension fatigue and worsen alignment. Always ensure equal tire pressure on both sides front and rear and adjust for load.
