Can a busted starter motor cause my Suzuki Mehran’s battery to drain?

My Mehran’s battery keeps draining, even though I’m using a good-quality battery. Sometimes the car doesn’t start at all, and I hear a clicking sound. Could a busted starter motor be draining the battery, and how can I fix this issue?
