Can a Clogged Purge Valve Cause Starting Problems in Suzuki Bolan?

My Bolan takes multiple attempts to start, especially after filling the fuel tank. Someone mentioned the purge valve might be clogged o r stuck open, allowing fuel vapors to flood the engine. How does this happen, and is it a known issue in local conditions?

Yes, a clogged o r stuck purge valve can cause hard starting, especially after refueling. Heres why:

When the purge valve is stuck open, fuel vapors flood the intake manifold, making the mixture too rich.

This can cause delayed o r rough starts.

In some cases, the engine may crank but not fire until excess fuel vapor clears.

In Pakistan, this issue is often ignored o r misdiagnosed as a fuel pump o r plug issue, but if it mostly happens after fueling, the purge valve is a strong suspect. Cleaning o r replacing the valve usually resolves the problem.
