Can a Faulty Remote Cause Central Locking to Malfunction in Suzuki Bolan?

Sometimes the remote doesn’t lock/unlock the doors, but using the manual switch inside works fine. Is this a remote issue o r something wrong with the central locking receiver? How can I test it?

Yes, a faulty remote can cause inconsistent locking/unlocking. Here’s how to check:

Replace the remote battery a weak battery reduces signal range.

Test the physical button – it may be worn o r broken.

Try using a spare remote if available.

If the remote works only sometimes, it may also be a receiver module issue o r signal interference. Make sure the receiver unit isn’t hidden deep behind the dashboard o r wrapped in metal – that can block signals.
