Can Faulty Water Body o r Water Pump Cause Overheating in Suzuki Bolan?

Recently, I’ve noticed boiling coolant and engine heat after short trips. A workshop told me it could be a faulty water pump water body. Is the water pump failure a frequent issue with Bolan engines, especially in older o r poorly maintained vehicles?

Absolutely. The water pump water body is responsible for circulating coolant through the engine and radiator. In Suzuki Bolan, especially in older o r high-mileage vans, the water pump can develop leaks, o r its impeller blades may wear out, reducing coolant circulation. This leads to localized heating and eventually engine overheating. A noisy pump, coolant leakage near the engine block, o r bubbling coolant are all signs of a failing water pump. Replacement is the only fix once it starts failing.
