Can the Fuel Cap on My Suzuki Bolan Get Damaged by Pakistan’s Extreme Weather?

The weather in Pakistan can get extremely hot, and I’m concerned that this might be causing damage to the fuel cap of my Suzuki Bolan. Can extreme temperatures cause the cap to crack o r become loose? What steps can I take to protect the fuel cap from damage?

Yes, extreme weather conditions, especially the heat and high temperatures common in Pakistan, can cause the fuel cap to degrade over time. Prolonged exposure to intense sunlight can cause the rubber seals inside the cap to harden and crack, leading to loosening o r leaking. To protect your fuel cap, try to park your Suzuki Bolan in shaded areas o r use a car cover when possible. If you notice signs of wear, such as cracks o r difficulty tightening, it’s important to replace the cap to avoid further damage.
