ASSALAM U ALIQUM brothers i have a toyota premio 1800cc vvti and i want to convert it to cng.some people tell me that ur car will be ruined and because u have a CVT auto transmission it will ruin the gear box. but i have seen cng on many auto cars i think i should. the cars daily running in city is around 150km its too expensive on petrol. ive herd there are good kits aand advanccers and new things which dont effect the pick too much so i think i should try. please tell me what are the risks of getting my gear box runined and clear this out ive herd that if u run a car on cng reguarly and then run it on petrol ur petrol milage is olso runined because of the damage to the engine plase clear this out asswell. i asked a mechanic about the gear he said that usualy the auto transmission oil is changed after 40k so wen cng is put u sud change after 20k then that will help the gear box. and tell me if i put cng how sud i regualarly maintain my engine thank you.

dear u must approach some cng workshops and ask in advance about it. they will be able to comment. in addition must also seek from them some similar car on cng who can be contacted before hand. it will indeed be great saving any way on cng.
