Compressor Problem in Cuore

Dear Friends! The Stock AC compressor in My Cuore 07 has seized to work and on checking it's clutch coil was burnt. The Mechanics advised me to replace it with KABLI because new Genuine compressor is very costly. Please let me know as to what can be the reasons for coil being burnt and whether i may use KABLI compressor and will it work ?? Also tell me the price of new compressor. Thanks in advance.

Just change the coil. Why you are changing the whole compressor?
Coil can be easily changed by just removing the pulley. No need to open the compressor.

Old coils are easily available in junk markets in less than Rs. 1k.
