will coolant reduce the car heat up??and which coolant should i use??

in most cases yes a reduction of coolant will cause the car to heat up ro even for the engine to sieze. as for which coolant to use,.. that's a personal choice but alot of people use that orange stuff youget at the pump (forgot the brand)

BTW for a short fix it is ok to use water as well but since water doesn't have rust inhibitors it shoudl be replaced with a coolant (pr mix) as soon as possible
