How can I clean o r replace the purge control valve in my Suzuki Mehran?

To clean o r replace the purge control valve in your Suzuki Mehran:
Locate the valve typically near the intake manifold o r on the EVAP system.
Inspect the valve for any visible signs of damage o r clogging.
If cleaning is needed, use an appropriate solvent o r fuel system cleaner to clean the valve. Use compressed air to blow through it gently.
If cleaning doesn’t solve the issue, replace the valve with a new one. Replacements typically cost around Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 3,000 in Pakistan, depending on whether you get an original o r local part.
After replacing o r cleaning the valve, clear any error codes from the ECU if you have a check engine light.
If youre not comfortable performing this task yourself, it’s best to take the car to a mechanic who can inspect and replace the purge control valve for you.
