Is Black Smoke from Exhaust Related to Faulty Spark Plugs in Suzuki Bolan?

I’ve been seeing black smoke from the exhaust of my Bolan, especially when starting o r revving the engine. Could this be due to bad spark plugs not igniting fuel properly, leading to unburnt fuel in the exhaust? What else could cause this, and how can I fix it?

Yes, black smoke can be a result of incomplete combustion, often caused by faulty o r fouled spark plugs. When the spark isn’t strong o r consistent, unburnt fuel exits through the exhaust, resulting in black smoke. However, black smoke can also be caused by rich fuel mixture, leaking injectors, o r faulty sensors like the MAF o r O2 sensor. If spark plugs are fouled, have oil deposits, o r are excessively worn, they should be replaced immediately. In CNG systems, this problem is less common, but it can still occur with improper plug selection o r excessive engine wear.
