Is Blue Smoke from My Suzuki Bolan’s Exhaust a Sign of Oil Consumption?

Sometimes I see bluish smoke coming from my Bolan’s exhaust when I start the engine o r accelerate. Someone told me it could mean the engine is burning oil. Is that true? What should I check to confirm if excessive oil consumption is the issue?

Yes, blue smoke from the exhaust is a clear sign that your engine is burning oil. This can happen when the oil leaks past the piston rings, valve seals, o r gasket into the combustion chamber. It’s often an indication that the engine components are worn and need attention.

Solution: If you notice blue smoke, it’s a good idea to take your Bolan to a mechanic for a compression test o r an inspection of the valve seals and piston rings. If these components are worn, they may need to be replaced. Regular oil checks and maintenance can help prevent long-term damage.
