Is My Suzuki Bolan’s Steering Vibration a Sign of a Bigger Problem?

I feel a vibration in the steering wheel, mostly when driving over 60 km/h. Sometimes, the steering shakes even on smooth roads. Could this be due to imbalanced wheels, steering rack problems, o r something else? How should I get it diagnosed?

Yes, vibration in the steering wheel—especially at higher speeds—is a sign of potential issues such as:

Unbalanced wheels o r tires.

Worn-out wheel bearings.

Loose steering components tie rods, bushes.

Warped brake drums/discs less common but possible if vibration is during braking.

Get the wheels balanced and aligned, and ask your mechanic to check for free play o r wear in the steering assembly. Neglecting this could lead to premature tire wear o r even dangerous steering failure.
