Is my Suzuki Mehran’s poor fuel economy caused by a malfunctioning purge control valve?

My Mehran’s fuel economy has significantly ped, and I’m using more fuel than usual. Could a malfunctioning purge control valve be to blame for this? What are the signs that the purge valve is not working properly, and how does it affect fuel efficiency?

Yes, a malfunctioning purge control valve can lead to poor fuel economy in your Suzuki Mehran. If the valve is stuck open, it may allow too much fuel vapor into the engine, which can make the engine run rich too much fuel in the mixture, thus reducing fuel efficiency. Check for any fuel odors, poor acceleration, o r rough running, and have the valve checked. If its faulty, replacing it should improve fuel economy.
