Is White Smoke from the Bonnet a Sign of a Radiator Leak in Suzuki Bolan?

Sometimes, I see white smoke o r steam coming from under the bonnet after a drive. There’s also a sweet smell near the front of the van. Could this be a coolant leak from the radiator, and what’s the best way to detect the exact spot?

Yes, white smoke o r steam coming from under the bonnet usually means hot coolant is escaping and evaporating upon contact with engine parts. The signs include:

Sweet smell near the front of the vehicle from coolant vapor.

Steam visible near the radiator cap, hose joints, o r overflow pipe.

Wet o r greenish marks on the engine o r fan shroud.

This indicates an active leak—it could be from a cracked radiator, loose hose, o r leaky radiator cap. Avoid driving the vehicle until it’s checked, as overheating can cause major engine damage.
