Passo 1000cc model 2011 Reducing Engine Oil - Please suggest solution

I have a Toyota Pass 1000cc model 2011. The issue with my Passo is that it reduces engine oil while driving.
The engine stick gauge indicates almost half the level of engine oil after driving a car up to 2500km and it shows almost 1.5 liters of reduced oil when I measure the used extracted engine oil.
When I used ZIC 5w 20 last time the measurement was also same at that time. I was using Shell HX7 5W-30 before this.
I visited an Oil Change shop and an oil change man said that it’s a normal thing for a Japanese car, especially Passo and Vits to reduce the oil up to 1 liter. But I don’t believe this.
Is this true? Please anyone can inform me.
Thanks

yes, 1KR engine does reduce oil but not to the extent you mention
after 4000 km and using shell helix hx7. the dipstick shows 3/4 full. initially was nearly at full mark

your engine might be burning extra oil due to a faulty pcv. if not that engine gone weakwhich i doubt, modern engines dont give up so early
