Performance of vitz in the rainy season

i have alto vxr 07 now i am going to sell it. since i have to travell a lot that is why i have decided to buy an automatc car among CULTUS COURE AND ALTO 08 i found VITZ the most comfortable car. plz do someone know about the performance of vitz in rainy season specially in heavy ran when roads are flodded with water (karachi.)

1- do vitz's engine stops in water ? (when water is above the level of bumper) (my alto dosent stop)
2- if stops , how much time the car takes to back on ?
3-i have a budget of 500k
4- plz no give suggestions to buy ,honda,suzuki,

auto transmission is bad news on flooded roads...... in manual you can keep the engine revving at high rpm so that water does not enter the tail pipe and control the speed of car using the clutch.....but this technique is not possible with auto tranny.....also vitz has low road clearance so the silencer is more prone to drown in water than in high clearance cars...... i suggest that you stick to alto or find a manual vitz..
