Servicing Vitz at the Petrol Station - Any Care?

Hi,

I was just wondering if there are any precautions when servicing a Vitz or any other car with EFI and other computer related stuff in the engine compartment due to the force of the water entering sensitive components and causing problems?

Looking for feedback/opinions from those who have a Vitz etc and serviced from a Petrol station, like once a month.

Try getting the water spray directly to the muddy parts avoiding the engine top/block. I think that diesel is not very good for the rubber parts in the engine bay...
