Toyota Passo 2012 52K driven is decreasing Engine Oil

I have Toyota Pass 2012. I am very disappointed with my car. I have driven it only 52K and only one week used within the city. The oil which was previously using was ZIC 5w20 but the pick was not so good and mileage was also not good. I was worried as I came to know that ZIC is now manufactured locally. Due to this, I replaced the ZIC with Tetchy 5w30 and as compared to ZIC this oil is very expansive. The official retailer advised me to change the oil after driving the car at least 5-6K km. But badly, the oil was decreased by quarter when I checked, I refilled the remaining quarter and good to me that I purchased 4L. After 3000kms, the oil was reduced by quarter again. I am not getting the exact reason behind this decrease of oil. The tank is not leaking also as I have checked it properly. The car is even in good working condition according to mechanic. Mechanic advised to again use ZIC and our 10w40 but I can’t understand as according to manual of Passo the oil should be 5w30. While driving on highways e.g. Islamabad to Peshawar car gives a good mileage in a round trip in 17 liters of petrol. While the petrol finishes 380-400 km within the city. Please help me to resolve this problem. Should I change my oil brand, grade o r continue to pour this as someone said that Car will take time to get settled with this new oil

Its better to switch to 10w40 because it is thick/viscous oil compared to 5w30 and using that will solve the problem of oil reduction.
According to the information that you provided, it looks like that the engine of your Passo is weakening.
