Toyota Passo 2016 Transmission fluid check temperature ranges

I own a 2016 Passo Moda M700A-GBSE which is installed with CVT transmission. The transmission fluid level can be checked with the help of a dipstick. I am searching for a correct procedure to inspect that fluid level.
There are cold and hot regions on the transmission fluid dipstick. I want to know the specific temperature ranges for them. GMC spec is to to check cold on 27°C-32°C and hot on 72°C-92°C. I dont know if it is the same on Toyota.
I also want to know if the engine should be running while checking the fluid.
I have a scanner which can display transmission oil temperature.
The user manual doesnt show any relating procedure. Google hasnt helped either.
I will be thankful for this kind guidance.
