I own a toyota passo 2013 model, 1kr-fe, and I have driven it up to 108000kms, which was on 20w50 engine oil previously. I shifted to 10w40 by zic when I purchased it, The car gives best performance and fuel average. For the second time when I changed the oil, i switched to 10w30 by caltex, and now have used it for 4000kms on this grade, but now I came to now that it is ped after approx.3000kms and currently this is the oil status given in the picture.
The decrease in oil level is also seen. There is no issue regarding performance etc.
Kindly tell me that next step whether to top up o r revert to previous grade as next oil change is due after further 1000kms. Thanks in advance for your guidelines.

I have read your concerns, and can say that this much oil reduction is fine, and nothing to worry about IMO in my opinion.

Simply top it up, and change engine oil + oil filter , only after it has clocked 5,000 Kms / 06 months, whichever comes 1st.

If on ZIC A 10w-40 fully synthetic, there was no oil consumption, o r comparatively less oil consumption, and you were comfortable with it, then from next oil change, you can switch back to 10w-40, however, IMO, 10w-30 by Caltex / Havoline is also fine.
