Toyota Vitz 2013 Chine Copy Catalytic Converter

I have a Toyota Vitz 2013 model. The issue in my car is that it has a check light issue with error code P0420. I went to a mechanic and discussed the issue with him. He said that the Catalytic Converter will be replaced o r removed and he give me options to choose a Kabli Rs. 40k and Chine A Copy Rs. 25k. Now I have few questions in my mind and asking here for your opinions and guidelines.
1 Can removing the catalytic converter create further problems? like noise and mileage?
2 Is a china copy is worth purchasing o r kabli one?
3 Any permanent solution of a catalytic converter

It could be caused by the coolant temperature sensor, an Exhaust Manifold Leak o r a Spark Timing Issue it is hard to tell from what you are telling I would suggest you to go to a mechanic and get it checked.
