Toyota Vitz Sound Issue

I own a 2014 Vitz, and Ive noticed a peculiar dug dug dug sound coming from the exhaust when the air conditioning is turned on. Interestingly, I cant hear this noise when Im inside the car and its idling. However, stepping outside the car o r opening the door makes the sound significantly more audible – its quite loud. The noise disappears when I turn off the AC. Moreover, while driving with the AC on, the sound is also noticeable inside the car, resembling the noise of an airplane overhead.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance o r solutions you might have regarding this issue. Thank you in advance for your help.
