!!!Trouble Shooting! (Vitz) Help!!!!!!!

guys i need your help
the other day i had to take 2003 vitz to sumplace as it was standing at for last 3 days of eid...now the problem is it show me Red temperature lite with in 1/2 km of its first run after 3 days...things i checked

1) coolent in the radiator was full
2) fan was working(automatically as they come with vitz)
3) i just filled the water container thats connected to the radiator ...after that the problem pretty much disappeared!

Ne ideas whats wrong with it?

AOA, Please Remove the Therosate Valve. and Make sure your Temperature guage wire is not touching the body. if wire is short then you will also get his lite.
