Vitz Keyless Duplication Guide Needed

Hello!

I have a single key and a remote with only lock/unlock options for my car, and Im interested in duplicating them in case I lose them. I have a few questions regarding this:

If I only duplicate the key, will I still be able to start the engine if I misplace the original key and remote? My car doesnt appear to have an immobilizer.

Would it be possible to program another remote if I misplace my current one? o r will I need the original remote o r a previous duplicate present during the process?

Additionally, I have some inquiries about the cost of a duplicate remote. I asked a car locksmith near Al Madina Auto Center, Tehkal University Town, and he quoted me 3,500 PKR for a Chinese remote and 6,000 PKR for an original one, but he said he could do it in five. Are these prices reasonable? They seem a bit high to me. Should I choose the Chinese remote o r the original one? What are the differences between the two in terms of range, reliability, operational lifespan, o r anything else?

Lastly, do you have any recommendations for other car locksmiths in Peshawar? If I decide to proceed, is there anything else I should be aware of beforehand?
