What Causes Clicking Sounds When I Try to Start My Suzuki Bolan?

Whenever I turn the key, I only hear a clicking noise, but the engine doesn’t start. Could this be a starter solenoid problem, o r is the entire starter motor failing? How common is this issue in older Bolan models in Pakistan?

A clicking sound when turning the key usually points to a bad starter solenoid o r weak electrical connection. The solenoid is part of the starter motor that pushes the gear forward to engage the engine. In Bolan vans, this is a very common symptom of a failing starter, especially when combined with old o r corroded battery terminals. Sometimes the solenoid sticks o r doesnt make proper contact, resulting in only a click and no cranking. The fix could be a starter repair o r replacement, depending on the damage.
