Why Do My Suzuki Bolans Headlights Keep Burning Out Frequently?

I’ve replaced the headlights on my Bolan several times in the last year. They work for a few months, then one o r both go out again. I use standard bulbs and don’t drive rough. Why do headlights burn out so quickly in this van?

Frequent headlight failure is a common issue in older Suzuki Bolan vans. Causes include:

Voltage spikes from the alternator o r unstable electrical system.

Low-quality bulbs that can’t handle heat o r vibration.

Poor-quality roads, especially in rural areas, cause constant vibrations, shortening bulb lifespan.

Loose bulb sockets o r connectors that cause overheating.

To fix this, use branded, vibration-resistant bulbs and have your alternator output tested. Ideal voltage should be around 13.5–14.2V when the engine is running. Also, ensure that the headlight wiring is secure and free from corrosion.
